Visit us at TapCritic.com TapCritic review of the app X-Plane. This is a demo for the iPad.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

X-Plane is a log-time flight simulator on the Mac/PC and now is available on the iPad. Following on the iPhone/iPod Touch version, the X-Plane 9 for the iPad takes full advantage of the larger screen for a pretty cool simulator.

im coming to this video every day
the flames from the space shuttle looks pretty wierd, but the iPad dint have computer graphics. Like it:)
Its pretty craaazy.
I guess u should put down some flaps when taking off…
this shows how powerful apple is!
First off its a B-52 that you dropped from, and sadly you don’t know that you need to drop flaps when you take off from any thing except a drop from a B-52. Great vid otherwise.
hey i was about to get in i wasted 1000 dollars
I guess that’s “Pretty Cool”
how much does the app cost
This looks better than the pc version.Seriously

@Jacklefack why do you ask that crap? go to apple(dot)com!!! dude!
how much is an ipad
have the new maps come out yet?
how does this ipad coste i man the ipad not the game thnx
@TheSloth9
The grapichs and simulation is very bad respect a PC game, well, X-plane 9 is bad too on PC, if you want a real flight simulator for PC the best is Flight Simulator X with expancion pack: Acceleration!!
is there a way you can control the plate with out tilting the pad around, like a on screen touch joystick ???
@vaughnturf Oh yeah…
Can you ur plane crash?
@oskArtist Ya that would be cool. But you can use your iPhone as a joystick for your Mac/PC X-Plane game. $5 app from Laminar Research.
@Brandontrex20 Laminar Research is pretty good at keeping all of their updates (no matter what they are) free. I have every X-Plane app for iPhone and the updates are great and free! and they added great planes for free. So I personally think that they will not charge for the new planes when they get released.
can you do a video tutorial for the instrument approach?
allmost same grapichs like pc :O
@Brandontrex20 I don’t know, but usually all updates are free up to the next version, so should be unless they’re a part of X-Plane 10 app.
Do you think it will cost money to get the new planes when they are released or will they be free
@oskArtist Yeh, That’d be freakin awesome!
