@oooanthonyooo I’m not an Apple fanboy…I just hate Windows netbooks. I bought a decent netbook with a 1.66GHz Atom and 1gb RAM running Windows 7 and it really struggled…I ended up uninstalling Windows 7 and installing Ubuntu instead as it was that bad. Windows is great, but only for laptops and desktops, not netbooks and tablets.

Actually the iPad is over 1ghz. The GPU is 535mhz and yes the ram is 256meg. You have to remember the iPad handles ram much differently than a netbook running windows. The operating system is also much more efficient as it was built specifically for the iPad. Where as most desktop OS’s are not tailored for specific netbooks.
Also, most netbooks that are sporting dual core procs and 2 gigs of ram. They will be well over the $499 price Apple is asking for the iPad.
