Question by At yur service: okay so…ipad 2 32gb+3g or laptop with 1gb ati radeon graphics+i3 processor?

Okay, so…I’m still in school (9th grade) and I have a laptop and desktop…but I fear that the laptop will break because its more of a family laptop and my sister is careless when it comes to taking care of her things..and my moms friend installed a linux O.S that isn’t compatible with nearly anything..so I know that, unless I switch the O.S back to windows, it won’t install iTunes which the iPad needs. That being said…I used to HATE the iPad with a passion because of the fact that it was basically a blown up ipod touch (I have the 3rd generation)..and therefore, a big inconvenience. But the new one came out..and it has two cores in its processor and 9x the graphics power while STILL maintaining the 10hr battery..and not to mention it is ULTRA sleek and ULTRA sleek=ULTRA portable lol. Also, since it offers 3g connection, that means that I will get internet almost anywhere I go..and MP3 players and Phones are NOT allowed at my school, but iPad is in the category of a tablet computer, so technically speaking, I can bring it to school and use it for work..because it has Keynote..which is basically a “Microsoft Office” so to speak, for the iPad..so I can just save the attachment to my email and print out my work…Plus the iPad 2 just looks waaaayyy fun and easy to use. But then again, a laptop with the specifications of an i3 processor running at 2.5ghz, 4gb ddr3 ram, a graphics card with 1gb of ddr 3 memory, a 500gb hardrive..and a webcam of its own..i mean, thats pretty hard to beat..the thing is only 5lbs and it has a 1366 x 768 display that looks pretty amazing…plus a physical keyboard..but you can buy a physical keyboard attachment for the iPad, so that’s okay…oh, and that laptop is only 4.99 while the iPads cost a buttload..especially for the 3g model i want (9.00) and plus what p’s me off is that apple is constantly coming out with updates on their products..I mean, a new update EVERY YEAR! I’m worried because its probably gonna finally support flash, have an SD card slot, higher res. cameras etc..Please help me make this decision, thank you!

THE TRUTH

Okay, so I got a real chance to evaluate the JooJoo and I just have to say that I’m REALLY REALLY disappointed. The company is basically going bankrupt, the JooJoo doesn’t respond well to touches, and overall, it just does not perform even CLOSE to the iPad. Apple’s iPad is 10000x superior to this half-baked device FusionGadget likes to call the JooJoo.

I’ve been trying to get my hands on a sweet deal on the iPad for you guys and it just so happens I found one!

MyRewardsVault is dishing out this fabulous deal just for you guys! This website has been getting lots of visitors daily and they decided it was time to give you guys something for FREE!

Free iPad!

Guess what it is? An Ipad! That’s right, several lucky winners will get an iPad! You can check out all the details here:

Be sure to follow the instructions carefully. If you have any questions, leave a comment on this post and I will contact MyRewardsVault for more details. Hope you guys like this great present! :)

MAY Special: Can’t afford the JooJoo?

Let’s face it. $500 for something as incomplete as the JooJoo is WAY too much. You could be using that money in so many different ways. You could buy yourself a new laptop… Or two new iPhones… Or a new iPad, perhaps? I’m going to give you my honest opinion. At $500, the JooJoo is not worth it. You’re much better off buying the iPad instead. BUT WAIT.

Why BUY an iPad when you can WIN one???

For the month of May 2010 (this month!), QuizzWizz is holding a contest to see how much you know about the iPad. If you get ALL of their questions correct, you will be entered in this month’s contest to WIN a FREE iPad! About 90% of the people who try to enter get at least 1 question wrong, which unfortunately means that they won’t even get a chance to win…

But you don’t have to be one of them! Why? Because I’m going to GIVE YOU ALL OF THE ANSWERS. Don’t worry, this is not against the rules (I’ve spoken with someone associated with QuizzWizz). You’re probably wondering why I’m doing this if it lowers my chances of winning, right?

The thing is… I already won an iPad last month! I don’t need another one. Many of you have been loyal readers (this website gets 5000+ pageviews every month) and I just wanted to do something to help you guys out because I’ve gotten tons of questions from people asking where they can find good deals on iPads. The best deal is getting it for free! ;)

There has been speculation that answering the questions FASTER gives you a better chance of winning… I honestly don’t know if this is true. If you think it is, then memorize these answers before clicking on the link to the quiz. WARNING: QuizzWizz does tend to change one or two questions around from time to time – if this happens, just post the question in the comments and I’ll answer it as soon as I can. I will also add it to this list. Ready?

Here are the most likely questions and answers (I’ve shortened some of the questions):

1. What is the iPad?
Answer: C) A tablet computer developed by Apple

2. What is the thickness of the iPad?
Answer: B) 0.5 Inch

3. Battery life?
Answer: B) Up to 10 hours

4. Custom chip?
Answer: B) The A4

5. Width?
Answer: D) 7.47 inches

Someone just messaged me and said they had this question for #5, so I’ll put this here as well:

5. Size of screen?
Answer: D) 9.7 inches

6. How many applications?
Answer: The number changes from time to time. However, the answer is almost always D, the highest number. You may encounter any one of these answers: D) 120,000 D) 130,000 D) 140,000 or D) 150,000

7. Cost of cheapest iPad?
Answer: B) $499

8. Maximum capacity?
Answer: C) 64 GB

9. 2 models of iPad?
Answer: DON’T GET FOOLED ON THIS ONE! This is the question most people get wrong. The answer is D) Wi-fi and Wi-fi + 3G model

10. Resolution?
Answer: A) 1024 by 768 pixel at 132 ppi

After that, you’ll be taken to a screen where you need to put in your cell number so they can verify that you’re real and that you only get one entry into the contest. If you got all of the questions correct (WHICH YOU SHOULD BECAUSE I GAVE YOU THE ANSWERS…), then you’ll immediately get a text message confirming a successful entry (note: some people have had to wait 24 hours before getting their confirmation).

At the end of the month, if you win, someone from QuizzWizz will call you. Their extension usually begins with 1-213-XXX-XXXX. Be sure to answer the call!

I just spent about 1.5 hours making this post, so I hope you guys found it useful. Don’t miss out on the chance to win an iPad! If any of the other questions change, just leave a comment below and I’ll be sure to give you an answer. ;)

In case you missed the link to the quiz, here it is:

Time is running out…finish the quiz and put in your entry before it’s too late!
