Question by John W: How to change iPad shipping method on Apple’s online store?
I’m ordering a 32GB iPad on Apple’s online store this evening. I have everything I want selected, and all is in my cart, I’ve proceeded to checkout, and the shipping section reads: will ship in 5 – 7 business days. In all past orders I’ve made from Apple, I could change the shipping method, to 2-day shipping for instance. I see no option now. Am I missing something, or is it not available for the iPad currently?

No, it is not possible to get a faster shipping because since the item is new there is a large amount of orders being processed, therefore it will take them longer to ship the iPads out.

Well I know that the 3G iPads take until like late April to ship because they are currently a little back ordered. But ya if its a regular one then I don’t think you can change it right now because they have a whole big thing about free shipping. Its like a promotion if you buy an iPad they will ship it to you totally free, but it also means that you can’t change the shipping option to like overnight and all its what they want to pay for. So I don’t think you can change it right now you are going to have to wait 5-7 business days. Sorry, its hard to wait for cool new gadgets I know that its always so exciting.
