Lots of articles say that it does not. But that was before the release of iPhone OS4. does this mean that as of June this year the iPad can multi-task
and, if they update the operating system for the iPad, could flash be incorporated in it? do you think it will?

If I remember correctly, when iOS 4 was announced they said that the iPad would get its own version in the fall. So its not out yet for it, so for right now, the iPad can’t multi-task.
No, Flash would never be in a stock iDevice.
